Normally, they also have some food trucks outside of the brewery as they don’t have too much of a food selection here.
We ordered flights, which are four 6oz beers for $8. This is a great way to try a wide variety of their beer offerings.
These were the ones I had:
Sunny Disposition – Single Hop Saison (6%)
I found this saison dry but had good hints of fruity flavours in it. It’s not too hoppy at all, making it a great beer to enjoy on a warm day.
Old Bitch – English Bitter (5.0%)
This beer was more hoppier than the rest of the beers I tasted. But that being said, it wasn’t an enjoyable beer. I was still able to finish this one and would still find it easy to drink in comparison to other similar beers.
Blacklight – Black Altbier (5.5%)
I was initially worried that this would be the most hoppy beer out of all of them, but it wasn’t at all. It’s quite light and has almost a coffee roast taste to it.
One Trick Pony – Smash IPA with Mosaic Hops (9.0%)
This beer may have the most alcohol than the rest, but it certainly doesnt feel like it when you sip on it. Again, being an IPA, I was expecting it to be very hoppy, but it was quite mild. I’d imagine this being really great to pair with a meal.
I’d definitely recommend checking out Brassneck if you’re in the area, it’s a great, local brewery and I look forward in trying more of their beers in the near future!
