I might be dating myself a little when I say I remember Cows fondly growing up. I remember their iconic cow outside of their shop on Robson street. COWS Ice Cream is a fun Canadian premium ice cream that has great tasting ice cream since 1983. Their ice cream is hand made with high quality ingredients including fresh cream and real eggs that are served in a handmade waffle cone.
They have fun names like “Cowconut Cream Pie” , “Fluff ’N Udder” and “Moo York Cheesecake”.
I visited their Whistler location not too long ago with Brian after a dinner in the Village and even though it was cold and rainy, there was a huge lineup out the door for the ice cream! Thankfully the lineup moved pretty quick and we only waited about 5-10 minutes to be served.
I ordered the Moo York Cheesecake and Moo Crunch. Both very delicious, creamy and satisfied my sweet tooth. What I like about COWS Ice Cream is that it’s creamy and flavourful without being way too sweet. That is pretty apparent with the quality ingredients they use to create each and every flavour.
If you’re in Whistler or near a COWS location, I’d highly recommend you check them out!
