As the weather gets warmer, I look towards refreshing drinks and treats to celebrate the summer with. A little while ago, Disney shared on it’s stories their infamous Pineapple Dole Whip recipe.

Interestingly enough, I had my first taste of Dole Whip at the Dole Plantation in Hawaii – not at a Disney park. But one taste and I was hooked! A couple years later, Brian and I travelled to Disney (both land and world) and one of the key items on my to-eat list was Dole Whip.

While I’m sure there’s more that goes into the real Dole Whip recipe at your favourite Disney park, this one is super simple and is perfect for at home.

Ingredients:

1 Big Scoop of Vanilla Ice Cream

4oz Pineapple Juice

2 cups Frozen Pineapple (chunks)

Procedure:

  1. Toss everything into a blender until smooth
  2. Pour into a tall cup

I used Dole products for both the juice and frozen chunks and I used more than a big scoop of vanilla ice cream, as I found my Dole Whip was on the runny side.

This amount made 4-5 servings – and while it can kind of keep ok in the freezer, it’s best to enjoy it right away!
