With the holidays almost upon us, if you’re anything like me, you’ve got a couple dinners and get togethers planned. I’m always looking for better ways to be a good host (read: easier on my end, so it looks like I put a lot of effort into it, when really it was movie magic). I was recently invited by President’s Choice to check out their latest collection just in time for the holidays – and let me tell you, they have a TON of stuff that will make your hosting a lot easier.
The most notable (and which I made a sprint for shortly thereafter) were:

PC Tuna Tataki ($8) – found in the frozen seafood section at your local Superstore or Loblaws, this pack features wild Albacore tuna (you can also get seared salmon) and sauce to serve alongside with it. Great value.

PC Chocolate Pecan Pie Bar ($10) – in the bakery aisle, this bar is EVERYTHING. I bought two because it was just that good. It’s got the buttery goodness of the pastry, pecan halves and slightly sweet chocolate filling that makes it oh so enjoyable.
PC Avocado Chunks ($3) – we’ve all seen the memes – your avocado decides to ripen when it wants and two seconds later becomes inedible! Well now you dont have to worry about that because in the freezer aisle, you can find these avocado chunks which are perfect for guacamole, smoothies, and a lot more.

PC The Decadent Chocolate Ganache Pots ($4) – I was kind of sad because I couldn’t find these – but Diana from Foodology told me they are in the refrigerated section. These ganache pots are perfect for dipping or mixing with hot milk to enjoy an indulgent drink.

PC Butter-Infused Seasoned Young Turkey with Two Stuffings ($3 per lb) – I’ll be honest, I’m not so great with making turkeys. I’m slightly impatient and also fearful of overcooking or undercooking the bird. I recently (and successfully, might I add) made a turkey for Thanksgiving, but that was pretty stressful! To know that there is a turkey I can buy that’s filled with stuffing and one you can roast from frozen is a big win in my books. I also got to try this turkey at the event and it is every bit delicious as making a turkey the old fashioned way.
They also have some great decor for the home that are priced pretty well!
