I went with Diana, Amy and Nathalie to try this place out (we did a mini food tour) and we were all pleasantly surprised. While their roasted pork was great (I got medium fat), crispy and slightly smokey but still moist – it was their bbq pork that really did it for me. It’s slightly charred on the outside but very moist on the inside and the glaze is slightly sweeter than most places. Heaven.
While a plate can cost $9, it’s worth it for the two. You can also get one choice…or three. Whichever way you decide to go, you really can’t go wrong. This place is always busy, whether you stay to eat or take to go, there is always a lineup.
Be sure to check it out the next time you’re in Richmond!
