One of my favourite eats has got to be churros – something about the crispy, cinnamon-sugar treats brings me back to some happy childhood memories. I was trying to figure out what precise memory triggers this response – perhaps the many weekends I spent in the US? Or maybe the many trips to Disney? In any case, having churros brings me to my happy place.

When I heard that Hugo’s Churros has expanded at the McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Vancouver Airport, I was excited!

They have a variety of ways to enjoy churros – just on it’s own, in an ice cream sandwich, with ice cream and with the colder weather – Spanish style drinking chocolate. I’d love to see them offer a spicy hot chocolate to pair with their churros!

Hugo’s Churros have since expanded to absorb maybe half the old Hawkers Market that was located at McArthurGlen – which means I get to enjoy a slice of childhood the next time I’m shopping at the outlets.
