I stumbled upon this food truck a couple days ago in Olympic Village. They offer Asian-style panko breaded crispy pork cutlet sandwiches including the Tonkatsu sandwich I tried that day.
The Tonkatsu is quite simple – mayo, cabbage, tonkatsu sauce and the pork cutlet. The pork cutlet is a good size and very crispy. I thought it wouldn’t travel well as I took it with me, but the bun was still nice and soft while the ingredients inside still stayed crunchy. You can never go wrong with tonkatsu and pork cutlet together, so I did enjoy this sandwich!
