Temper Pastry is located in the West Vancouver neighbourhood of Dundarave, which I have to admit I haven’t explored too much of yet. It reminded me a bit of Carmel By-the-Sea with it’s quaint feel.
The alcohol they offer are all local – with some of the breweries being on the North Shore. If alcohol isn’t your thing, they also offer a refreshing Pink Grapefruit iced tea.
What’s New on the Summer menu:
Rum Baba Parfait
Mini Ice Cream Bars
Eton Mess Parfait
Lime and Coconut Fruit Tart
Passion Fruit Desserts
Yoghurt Parfait (lemon yoghurt mousse parfait)
Affogato (espresso with ice cream)
Pistachio and Strawberry parfaits
All of which we had the extremely daunting task of trying (I know, tough life).
Of all the treats my favourites were the Pistachio and Strawberry parfait, Passion Fruit cake and the Eton Mess Parfait.
It’s worth mentioning that Stumptown Coffee is being served at Temper – one of my favourite coffee companies from Portland.
The menu is now on until the end of summer – they’re guesstimating around September. So if you’re in the neighbourhood, definitely go to check out these delicious treats and take advantage of their lovely patio!
