Purebread, Whistler BC

If heaven was a place on earth, I’d imagine Purebread would be the closest thing to it. Located in Function Junction, the original Purebread is just as mouth watering as it’s Vancouver location. The entire space is filled with delicious morsels ranging from sweet to savoury, it is just so hard to choose just one (or five…) great treats. Don’t even get me started with the wafting smell of freshly baked pastries here.

While their treats range from scones, sandwiches, bars, cakes and sweet loafs, they also do an assortment of remarkable breads like hazelnut fig (one of my favourites), cheddar jalapeno, sour cherry chocolate and too many more to list here.

When I visit Purebread, I normally go for one savoury and one sweet. Today I went with one of my favourites, their Cheddar Jalapeno Scone. It’s not too spicy, in case you were wondering – but still a great kick to start off your morning.

We also ordered the Chilli Cheddar Cornbread – it was dense, moist, a lil spicy and sweet and the lemon basil blueberry scone, a bright flavoured scone to balance out the more heavier options we picked.

If you’re in Whistler, this is a definite must try!
