Shoppers Drug Mart started rolling out new enhanced convenience food locations across Canada, with the first one in BC at 2748 East Hastings. Shoppers wanted to provide a more well rounded experience for it’s customers by providing more fresh food items – to the tune of 750 new items.
Accentuating their food and wellness mantra, Shoppers provides fresh and healthy items including produce that are sold in bulk and individually with organic choices, prepared salads, cut fruits and veggies, specialty cheeses and deli meats, packaged fresh meat (poultry, pork, beef), locally prepared easy grab-and-go meals, T&T products like sushi, roll cakes, cream puffs and have also expanded their President’s Choice food offerings.
Shoppers Drug Mart also has a floral program that now delivers beautifully fresh cut flowers twice a week to the store. Shoppers looks to expanded their enhanced convenience food offerings throughout Vancouver and Richmond in the coming months with the following stores being completed by July:

I love going to Shoppers Drug Mart for my makeup needs, but I’m glad to see their expansion into fresh food items. Many other cities around the world offer this and I’m so excited for this concept to come to Vancouver – it’ll make everyone’s lives a lot easier!
