This diner in the middle of downtown is pretty unassuming. I’m sure you’ve seen it if you’ve ever walked past it – you can’t miss the neon lined windows. The diner serves up diner food (duh) and some Chinese dishes as well. The interior is very vintage, it feels like one of the only diners left in the city that can transport you back to the 70s-80s era of Vancouver.
I came here for a quick meeting and I ordered a Club House Sandwich ($9.95). The prices are pretty good for it’s location.
My Club House Sandwich is straight forward – tomato, lettuce, chicken and a side of fries. Done well and filling enough for lunch. There was a good amount of fries, but I would’ve liked a little bit more.
I’d like to see this place stay as long as it can as I feel like there aren’t a lot of dive diners surviving the Vancouver real estate.
