Chef Daniel Ackland invited us to check out some of the new flavours on the menu including a great house made burger made with 100% ‘AAA’ chuck and brisket for under $14, delicious short rib, some pub favourites like potato skins served with cheddar and jack cheese, bacon, green onion and sour cream, chicken fingers, calamari and much more.
My favourite was definitely the burger, it was nice and juicy and the bun held up real well with the meat. They also have a garden burger that is ridiculously big and perfect for vegetarians. I also really enjoyed their warm cookie skillet that was served with a white chocolate chip cookie and a huge scoop of vanilla bean ice cream and dark chocolate and chocolate sauce on top!
