I like to frequent the Riley Park Farmers Market, simply because its such a great walk from where I’m situated. One stall that has been a staple is SweetThea – here they sell breads and baked goods.

Today I bought a chocolate salted caramel tart ($4) and one of their hearth breads – specifically the Green Olive sourdough ($7).

The bread was great, I bought it to accompany our Easter dinner and it was a hit. It was also just as delicious the next morning (and still soft!) – perfect with the leftover Easter ham.

The Chocolate Salted Caramel tart is heaven – it’s the perfect marriage of chocolate and a hint of salt to cut the sweetness overall. The crust is made with shortbread so you get the density and buttery flavour from it.
