Looking forward o the upcoming Taste of Yaletown? I know I am! It’s one of the best ways to try Yaletown’s finest restaurants. Living previously in the area, I was so lucky to have a multitude of delicious restaurants whenever I felt lazy to cook (which seemed to be fairly often!).

Taste of Yaletown is happening October 17-27th, so grab a couple friends and try some amazing places!

Here are my choices for this year’s Taste of Yaletown:

Yaletown Brewing Company – I love coming to this restaurant – for drinks, to catch up, etc. At the $35 price point, they have one of the most diverse menu selections. I’d definitely like to try their Smoked Applewood Cheddar, Potato and Ale soup!

Bistro Sakana – I haven’t been here before, but this menu might inspire me to.

Brix Restaurant – this (seriously) tucked away restaurant is romantic and the food is marvelous. The menu had me at ‘confit pork belly with crackling granny smith apple puree’. Nom.

killjoy – the latest from the Donnelly Group. I’ve been meaning to check this place out but haven’t had the time to, I might just have to drop by for ToY2012. Looking forward to their squash and quinoa salad and smoked albacore tuna and avocado!
