Crowbar
Serving only 14 dinners-for-two and designed to be shared, the decadent menu stars 32 oz organic dry-aged ribeye steak cooked to order, marinated in garum, aged in roast beef fat and sprinkled with parmigiano rind. Burdock & Co.
On Thursday, February 14, the restaurant will host two seatings — one at 5:30/6pm, and the other at 8/8:30pm — each featuring a parade of dishes designed to excite taste buds and encourage lingering conversation. Tickets to Burdock & Co’s Valentine’s Day dinner cost $80 per person (plus tax and gratuity). Guests are encouraged to book early as there is space for only 34 diners. Michelin-star trained chef de cuisine, Catherine Stewart’s three-course Valentine’s Day set menu will showcase her wealth of French bistro techniques from her previous years spent cooking in France. Amorous Oysters.  Legend has it that the infamous lover, Casanova, consumed 50 oysters every morning and they’re available to eat to your heart’s delight at the  Oyster & Champagne Bar at Jetside in Fairmont Vancouver Airport.  On February 14 from 4 – 7 pm, fresh shucked oysters on the half shell are $2 each and complemented with the sommelier’s selection of champagne and sparkling wines by the glass or bottle.
