YVR Food Fest
Where: Olympic Village

A newly expanded and renamed festival, the YVR Food Fest will feature over 80+ food carts, restaurants, breweries and wineries. New this year is the Big Feast where vendors will be offering an unlimited tasting menu for the two hours where attendees can vote for their favourites. There are also long table dinners, food talks, private dinners and cocktail parties.

Anime Revolution

Out on Screen returns with its 28th annual Queer Film Festival. Telling stories of the journeys of queer people, their mission is to make a difference.

After Hours at Vancouver Aquarium
Where: Vancouver Aquarium
When: Aug 18, 6:30-10pm
Price: $23 members, $31 non-members
Celebrating Summer on the BC Coast, enjoy the Aquarium with adults only. Dolphin training lessons, a screening of Great Escapes: Life in 4D and a hands-on learning experience at the Wet lab.

Columbia StrEAT Food Truck Fest
Where: Downtown New West
When: August 20th, 4-10pm
Price: Free entry
With over 90 food trucks, 6 beer gardens and 24 patios, New West will be hosting one of the greatest food festivals in the summer – the Columbia StrEAT Food Truck Fest. Entertainment including The Tragically Hip: A National Celebration – a live screening on August 20th. The concert begins at 5:30pm.

The Fair at the PNE
