White Spot is a BC institution that has been around for almost 100 years. Founded way back in 1928, Nat Bailey created Canada’s first drive-in restaurant on Granville and 67th and has since expanded throughout Alberta and even Asia.

Their latest menu “Celebrate BC” highlights fresh, local ingredients and BC wines with dishes like Prawn & BC Brie Flatbread, Gala Apple & BC Brie Chicken Burger and delicious BC Blueberry PIe.

The menu is available throughout the summer, so be sure to check it out here.

Another initiative from White Spot that I love is the Pirate Pak Day fundraiser happening on August 13th, 2014. Basically, you can order an Adult Pirate Pak (because who doesn’t love food that comes in a pirate ship??) but for each oak sold, White Spot donates $2 to Zajac Ranch for Children. The Zajac Ranch is a BC charity that provides a once in a life time summer camp experience to kids and young adults with life-threatening illnesses and chronic disabilities.

Update!

  • Over $78,000 was raised this year for charity, sending over 50 kids and young adults to camp.
  • 39,350 Pirate Paks were sold on Pirate Pak Day – 20% more than last year!

I’ve teamed up with White Spot to give away two gift cards so you can enjoy the new menu and order yourself a Pirate Pak on August 13! I will be drawing two winners on Friday, August 8th! Check out the ways to win below.
