Just the other day, I came home and I was starving. I didn’t want to go out and spend more money on food when I didn’t have to but I didn’t have much in my fridge/freezer. Then I remembered I had defrosted chicken breasts and so I went to my trusty allrecipes.com to see if I could find any easy recipes.

Luckily for me, right on their home page they had an easy Chicken Parmesan recipe that’s so easy, even my husband could make this dish!

Here’s what you need for the dish:

Chicken Breasts (if they’re big, you’ll have to slice them smaller so they’ll cook easily)
Tomato Sauce/Pasta Sauce
1/2 cup Parmesan
1/2 cup – 3/4 cup Mozzarella Cheese
Spices to your liking (Basil, Oregano and Parsley is what I put)

Set the oven to 350F.

The cooking part is simple – slice your chicken breast so its not too thick.

Pour the pasta sauce into a pan and stir in half the parmesan, add spices to your liking.

Dip the chicken into the mixture and turn it over so both sides are evenly coated.

Cover with foil and cook for 30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked.

After, take the foil of and add mozzarella and the last half of the parmesan to the top and put back into the oven until the cheese is completely melted.

You can serve the dish with veggies or pasta, depending on how hungry you are. Bon appetite!
