Apothic Wines has officially launched their white wine. A mix of Chardonnay, Riesling and Moscato- the blend is slightly more on the sweet side and has a fuller body than most whites I’ve experienced. Its definitely a cheese and charcuterie platter type of wine rather than one you would enjoy with dinner (due to sweetness).

The evening was filled with delicious food from A Moveable Feast- from many types of cheeses, cold cuts, crudites and even a dessert table.

We noshed on hors d’oeuvres being passed around including a brie, tomato in flaky pastry, ceviche, fish, scallop in pastry, chorizo pizzellas and many more.

The dessert table was splendidly spread with hazelnut meringue, chocolate dipped mangoes, apple spice tarts, chocolate creme and white chocolate creme flutes and other sweet morsels.

During the evening, Fred Lee was our host and we had several dancers from BalletBC perform.

I didnt get to try the red wine but all I hear are marvelous reviews. How its so versatile, it’s become some people’s house wine.
