Dine Out Vancouver is back for another year running from January 14-31 with 3 course menu prices ranging from $20-60. I always enjoy this festival because I get a chance to try more of a restaurant’s menu at a bit of a discounted price.

Restaurants should have protocols in place for the safety of their guests, but this year I will be taking out / getting delivery as I myself haven’t personally returned to dine in yet.

I was pouring over the website and wanted to share some of the places that piqued my interest!

Alimentaria Mexicana
$31
To Go available
This new Mexican restaurant located on Granville Island has all your faves but what caught my eye is the Birria tacos (which are super trendy at the moment).

The Acorn

One of my favourite spots in the neighbourhood, always a delicious meal.

Ancora Waterfront Dining and Patio

This scenic restaurant is always a nice place for date night!

One of the best spots in Vancouver for fine dining and seafood.

Bruno Restaurant

A newly opened high end restaurant in Richmond, this has been on my to-try list for a little while now!

Capo & The Spritz
$35
If you’re looking for some classic good eats in a laidback setting, Capo & The Spritz is a great place to check out.

Chambar Restaurant
$49
Chambar will never not be on my Dine Out Fest list. My favourite thing is their mussels (and get a cocktail while you’re there!).

Chewie’s Oyster Bar
$35
A laidback and fun restaurant that serves up not only oysters but some Creole recipes – the Chicken Ballotina and Jambalaya were the ones that caught my eye.

CHI Vegan

If you’re looking for a fun twist on classics, CHI is the spot. Their dishes are always packed with flavour.

Boasting more than just oysters some stand out items on the menu include their prawn papardelle, cioppino, and scallop frisee salad.

Korean fried chicken is the bomb and everyone knows it. If you haven’t had a chance to try Frying Pan’s chicken sandwich run, dont walk!

Joe Fortes Seafood and Chop House
