On a dark and stormy evening, one similar to this, a food blogger decided to bring a bottle graciously given to her by Black Grouse of their blended scotch whisky to a Halloween birthday. Little did she know, she was about to step into…the Twilight Zone.

No, not the glittery vampire type, but the legit Twilight Zone. *cue the music*

Halloween is tomorrow and for a more refined way to celebrate, you could consider making these scotch based drinks – recipes (and a nice sample) provided by the good folks at Black Grouse.

Black Grouse Ghoul’s Delight
Easy and sweet, a good way to enjoy scotch for people like me who might find the taste of scotch on it’s own a little intense!

Ingredients
1oz Black Grouse Blended Scotch Whisky
0.5oz BOLS Blue Curacao
3oz orange juice

Combine ingredients in a shaker tin with ice, shake vigorously, strain into a tall glass with fresh ice. You can garnish it with gummy worms, or…I kinda like the look of Pop Rocks too.

Please note that I was sent a complimentary bottle of Black Grouse for review complete with recipes, however all opinions are my own.

Happy Halloween!
