When it comes to dips and dressings, having quality ingredients always makes the difference between a forgettable dish and a memorable one that have people coming back for more.
Litehouse is one of my favourite dressings to pick up when I’m making a caesar salad, but to be honest I had no idea they had dips until they reached out to me to try their dips.
Their dressings are pretty thick and can swap out for a dip but they do have specific dips you can pick up from your local grocery store in the fresh aisle. A couple include Dilly of A Dip, Avocado Dip and the Homestyle Ranch Dip. I picked up the Avocado dip because I’m a big fan of guacamole but not a big fan of prepping it.
The avocado dip is made with avocado, sour cream, lime juice and a bit of jalapenos. But don’t let the word dip stop you from spreading it onto toast. I served it recently at a family get together to good reviews.
The avocado dip is definitely something I’d buy again, along with the dilly dip. It’s perfect to bring to a summer bbq or potluck with a bag of chips and some salsa.
