Have you ever been to Maxim’s? There are several locations – one in Metrotown across T&T and one in Richmond Centre are the two I usually go to. Their baked goods are usually a little smaller than those gigantic ones you may get elsewhere but the value is hard to beat. Most baked goods are 3/$1.65+. My parents have been taking me here since I was young, it was such a treat whenever we went to Richmond Centre!
My favourite pastry is their sweet custard and pineapple bun. Brian loves pineapple buns so we get those as well. I’m also a big fan of their garlic-hot dog buns and their custard tarts which they usually keep in the front.
