There’s something about holiday lights that feels like magic. It’s as if for a few hours, reality softens, and you’re invited to walk through a dream.
This year, Glow Gardens Langley leans fully into that fantasy with its 2025 theme: The Magic Toy Shop. From November 20 to December 31, the gardens transform into a glowing wonderland built for joy, play, and nostalgic delight.
At the heart of the festival is a story: Fox and Bunny, two curious little adventurers, peer through the keyhole of a mysterious toy shop and are magically turned into wind-up toys. Suddenly, they’re part of the very world they once looked into, and they invite you to follow.

Visitors are encouraged to explore six immersive areas that feel plucked from a childhood memory. There’s DinoLand, where gentle dinosaurs glow under twinkling lights; Gingerbread Lane, where candy-colored houses seem freshly baked; Motor City, complete with retro toy cars and neon brilliance; Rainbow Forest, a kaleidoscope of color; Teddy Town, home to oversized bears; and Vintage Avenue, with a nostalgic, old-fashioned toyshop feel. All paths lead to the Toymaker’s secret workshop, where holiday magic truly comes alive.

This all ages friendly event is great – the ticket covers all the magic inside, there are heated and covered areas so you can take break from the cold and there are so many great photo moments scattered throughout.
Whether you’re chasing childhood memories of toy shops or watching your kids’ faces light up (literally), this year’s “Magic Toy Shop” is a reminder of how wonder can still feel real.
