The recipe was simple and easy to follow. To make it vegan, the recipe called for non-dairy milk (I used almond milk) and margarine, both of which are common in every grocery store. I wasn’t able to follow the recipe exactly as written; because I didn’t have any little glass jars. I opted to put them all in a large glass baking pan instead, and it turned out just fine.
After 25 minutes in the oven…voila! Freshly baked vegan chocolate babka blossoms. Eat them while they’re still warm, or pop them in the microwave for a few seconds to make them super soft and delicious.
