On a recent jaunt to Delta, we decided to stop at one of the only Krispy Kreme locations here in BC (and by we, I mean me making an executive decision that we needed donuts after having a big East Indian lunch). The Krispy Kreme location also has a drive through, so they make it super easy to pick up a box of donuts and go.
It only made sense for me to get a dozen donuts – they have donuts all year round and some seasonal ones on the menu. During the time I went, they had a lemon filled donut that was super popular.
I stuck to the classics that I knew – cake batter, glazed chocolate cake, caramel kreme crunch, chocolate sprinkle, oreo, blueberry, etc.
The Krispy Kreme donuts here are very comparable to the ones I’ve had in the states. I find Krispy Kremes to be on the airy-lighter side when it comes to donuts (even their heavier cake donuts), which make them pretty deadly to have because you’ll feel like you could eat an entire box (or is it just me?).
