When it comes to side dishes, I prefer something tangy or spicy. So when I was over at my parents place and my dad served this ‘pickled’ cucumber with our steak, I was delighted! All you need are two ingredients:
Fish Sauce
Cucumber, sliced lengthwise with a peeler or with a knife.
Put it into a non-reactive bowl and add fish sauce liberally. The best is to leave it sitting in the fridge to chill a bit and serve with your main dish. So easy, and so delicious to enjoy.
