A staple in the community since 1996, Meinhardt has now expanded into central downtown. Located on the corner of Dunsmuir and Granville, Meinhardt provides a gourmet market experience. This particular location’s focus is on grab and go gourmet items.
From gourmet breakfast sandwiches, a hot entree bar and salad bar – there is plenty of fresh offerings to choose from. What I’m most thrilled to try is their decadent looking desserts!
But Meinhardt has much more than food on the go – they have a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables, deli meats and cheeses and a boutique of fine foods.
This location is definitely a welcome addition to the downtown area that lacks convenient grocery stores. Many downtown shops close on the weekends, but Meinhardt is open seven days a week (M-F 7am-7pm, Sat/Sun 8am-6pm).
