Steller’s Jay Sparkling Rosé is one of my new favourite wines, especially being a sophisticated woman who spends her Fridays meditating, soaking her feet, drinking wine and turning on her salt lamp.

In all seriousness, this is a delicious bubbly: hints of strawberry and raspberry, its dryness and lightness made that second pour fast. There’s something bready beneath the fruit, like a brioche bun in the background. I believe this would also be a good pairing with salads, fish or chicken, though I was drinking this by itself when I enjoyed it. Definitely another rosé I’ll be toting during picnics or barbecues in the future.

Steller’s Jay Sparkling Rose is made right here in the Okanagan Valley. It’s perfect for brunch or just BBQ season. It’s got a nice, citrusy and sweet balance to it. It’s slightly dry so that it works well with a meal.
