A portion of the profits from each meal served during the event is donated to the Greater Vancouver Food Bank, so it’s a great time to check out some of the good eats in Yaletown and support a great cause.
Here are some of my recommendations this year, based on the menu and previous experiences at the restaurants:
Parlour ($35)
With an appy and one of their delicious pizzas, Parlour is one of my favourite places to grab a pizza in Yaletown.
Bistro Sakana ($35)
I haven’t been personally, but the menu is one of the more diverse ones, so it would definitely be on my radar to try!
Brix ($35)
Brix is a great place to take a date, the menu is good and the ambiance is perfect.
Minami ($25 lunch, $35 dinner)
You can never go wrong with Minami (sister restaurant to Miku). They offer a Zen lunch which includes their famous Aburi, zen box and dessert! More for dinner, but I think value wise, check out the lunch menu.
DD Mau ($10.50)
DD Mau is one of my favourite places to grab lunch in Yaletown and they don’t have your typical banh mi up for grabs – this is an introduction to the other menu items they offer. Try the Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk or what we all love to call it – Rocket Fuel!
